Farnley Fest Countdown
We're counting down the days until Farnley Fest - a weekend of family fun in Farnley Tyas to celebrate the Tour de France Grand Depart.
It all starts on Friday 4 July with the Beer Festival at the Golden Cock pub. At 5pm in the evening, there's an open mic event for anyone to come along and show off their singing talents.
On Saturday 5 July, the fun continues with the Scarecrow Trail. From 1.30pm onwards, trail maps can be purchased from the car park in Field Lane. As well as free parking, the map has vouchers for a cup of tea or coffee, and a cup cake, at the Golden Cock.
All proceeds to Forget Me Not Children's Hospital.
Please note, parking is at owners' risk.
Tour car parking
Parking for the Tour de France is available on Sunday 6 July, off Honley Road. If you're feeling adventurous, download our 'The Tour' map for free, which will take you through some of Yorkshire's most stunnning countryside, to Honley village, where you can watch the world's most famous cycle race pass by.

The weekend comes to an end with a charity auction in aid of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and Help For Heroes. Visit the Golden Cock in Farnley Tyas on Sunday at 5pm to place your bid for some great prizes!
