Elder House improvements

Elder House is situated at the junction of Manor Road and and is an Estate property.

Providing space within the village for residents to live and work is a key aspiration of Farnley Estates and a consent for office and storage had been obtained for the ‘odd shaped’ garage at the property for the benefit of a previous occupier of the property. Following an enquiry from a local resident, we were only too pleased to apply for a variation to the planning permission whereby the developed office could be occupied by a party other than as residing at Elder House.

The conversion work is being undertaken by local builders A E Hayward & Sons.

Woodview Barn update

The Estate is pleased to announce that it has issued a tender for building work to be undertaken to the Old Barn at Woodview Farm. The tender has been issued to three local builders.

In addition to the Barn, the tender also includes the provision of a small car park at the bottom of Manor Road.
